The Boondocks: 20 anos depois.

Digital warm up featuring an early 20's Jasmine DuBois from the Boondocks. After her parents divorce during her teen years, Jasmine, like many mixed kids in this country, reached a point in her life where she had to decide for herself which side she wanted to identify with for her adult life. Consequently, it just so happens that she had been far more influenced by a certain radical revolutionary (Huey) than any of her topical friendships throughout high school, so the choice was pretty simple. To her father's dismay, she made quick work of switching her college major from law to history, and became the newest campus radical revolutionary with a vengeance. Huey was pleased to say the least, though much guidance and deprogramming was still needed to point her in the right direction. More to come, peace ya'll. #Marcusthevisual #boondocks #adultswim

More art featuring Grandad from the Boondocks 20 years later. Upon Huey and Riley's departure from his home, Grandad wasted no time searching for a live-in nurse to care for him. After the many wonderful tales from Riley of what a wonderful life he'll have with a fine nurse at his beck and call, Grandad was ecstatic. The reality of finding said "fine nurse" was not so easy a task. After many failed attempts at finding someone that was "qualified" (aka attractive enough), he was overjoyed that his last attempt was a young inexperienced nurse that was perfectly priced. Janice Lopez was everything that Grandad was hoping for and more, as she was not only a bombshell, but a caring individual with her heart full set on nothing but the best treatment of him. Months passed and Grandad was in heaven. The good times were threatened to end abruptly one night when Janice began tearing up after a random phone call during Grandad's sponge bath. After attempting to spare him of her troubles, she broke down in despair. She explained that she was living/working here as an illegal immigrant and that her and her children were depending on her new job as a nurse to save up and build a life here in America. Somehow, she had been found out, and was now being threatened with deportation if she did not become a citizen asap. As she packed her bags while sobbing hysterically, she thanked Grandad for his wonderful generosity and opportunity to live in such a wonderful home for the time she has. With the overwhelming weight of the reality that his sponge baths would forever come to an end, Grandad stopped Janice at the door begging her to stay. Within weeks, Janice and her 3 children were moved in and Grandad's peace of mind moved out as her children were the embodiment of menaces. Too old to effectively whoop the trio, Grandad has come to terms with his new arrangement. Stress during the day for Sponge baths during the night. What we'll do for a Sponge bath. Peace ya'll. #Marcusthevisual #boondocks
